Original Bridgetown Fire Station

At the rear of the Synagogue, sits another Historic structure. This is presently used by the Police Force, and I was dragged into the police station for taking these photographs, where I had to explain myself.....
The buildings are those of Bridgetown's first Fire Station. Subsequently, they were used by the Weights and Measures department, who abandoned it with their equipment still inside the main fire engine hall.
These buildings have not been looked after, and are at risk. They represent an important part of the History of Bridgetown, and of Barbados.
